Why do I not see san francisco?
In light of the State's recent approval of regulations for cannabis businesses, the Office of Cannabis ("OOC") issues this bulletin to reiterate local laws regarding the delivery of cannabis or cannabis products within the City and County of San Francisco (the "City").
Local Law Applies to Cannabis Deliveries
Section 1622 of the San Francisco Police Code regulates the delivery of cannabis and cannabis products to customers within the City. Section 1622(a) provides that such deliveries may be conducted only by operators "that are permitted by the Office of Cannabis and receive express authorization to engage in Deliveries from the [OOC] Director." Additionally, "The Delivery of Cannabis or Cannabis Products within San Francisco by Cannabis Businesses that are located outside of San Francisco is prohibited." Section 1622(b) imposes additional delivery standards.
HOW DO I SIGN UP FOR AN ACCOUNT?

What is a valid id?
A valid proof of identification must clearly indicate your Name and Birthdate. All images uploaded need to be clear images on a solid background to not delay first time order processing time.
A state-issued Driver’s License or ID card
A Government-issued Passport
WHAT A VALID DELIVERY LOCATION?
In accordance with § 5416. We only Delivery to a Physical Address in the state of California- so houses, apartments, lofts, and privately-owned properties are fine. Locations located on publicly owned land, or any address on land, or in a building leased by a public agency we cannot deliver to.
Business Addresses can be allowed only with prior approval from the Business Owner. A Business Delivery form will be supplied upon request by emailing email@example.com.
What is a Medical Marijuana ID Card?
California patients who have a recommendation letter can apply to the California Department of Public Health for the Medical Marijuana Identification Card Program (MMICP). This is a separate card than your medical recommendation card, this card can be used as an ID as well.

WHAT IS A DOCTOR’s RECOMMENDATION LETTER?
A Medical Marijuana Doctor’s Recommendation must have your full name, the date it was given to you, and your patient ID number. The letter will also need to be signed by the doctor, embossed with a seal and have the contact details — email or phone — to verify its authenticity. Under Prop 215 (1996), a doctor’s recommendation authorizes a patient with a qualifying condition to purchase, consume, possess, and cultivate cannabis for their consumption in the state of CA.
HOw long does is take to get approved?
All profiles are approved by our admin team to maintain accuracy and privacy of your information - we validate all ID, Medical Recommendation, and MMIC information. To ensure that your delivery can get to you safely and timely, we will also review all delivery address requirements and notes.
Approval typically happens within 10-15 mins to at the most 24 hours, but if you feel the process is taking longer then it should please reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org with the email used to register your account.
After sign up can i change my account type?
If you are updating you account from Recreational to Medical you will need to reach out to us directly at email@example.com to the attention of change account type. Attach an updated Recommendation form, or MMIC card image.
how much cannabis can i buy ?
Following regulation § 5409. Daily Limits for all individuals are as follows for the maximum order allowed by a single person:
28 g (1 oz) Flower or 8 g of Concentrates or 8000mg Edibles
28 grams Flower = 8 grams Concentrates = 8000mg Edibles
3.5 grams Flower = 1 gram Concentrates = 1000mg Edibles
What are the taxes applied to my order ?
Currently, there are two types of taxes applied
Excise Tax - a flat 15% tax on all Medical and Recreational Marijuana sales.
Local Excise Tax- of 5% for Berkley
and 10% for Oakland
Sales and Use Tax - county & local taxes specific to each location. Patients with valid MMIC are exempt from county and local sales taxes.

how can i pay for my delivery?
we are only accepting Cash payments and Debit Card Payments. If you plan to always have exact payments ready - our drivers will not make change but a credit can be added to an account if needed.

I forgot to get exact change, what do I do?
We understand the hassle of carrying cash, so If we could not make change for you we offer adding this change as a credit towards you next order ask your delivery driver more information.
Tracking the order status, or ETA?
All On- Demand Order’s take about 10-15 min to process and fill, delivery times will vary from 20 mins to an hour. You will be updated via SMS notifications, so you can be ready with cash in hand. Tree of Health uses SMS Onfleet notifications to share the Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA). When the Delivery Driver is nearby, they will call to confirm that you are at the address to receive your order.
how will my Delivery come packaged?
Tree of Health will deliver all items in opaque, child-resistant exit packaging sealed for travel and quality assurance.
who can receive my order?
Only you and a designated Primary Caregiver are eligible to receive an order you have submitted. A Primary Caregiver is someone who is consistently responsible for your housing, health, and/or safety according to California law. To designate a Caregiver, send a legible photocopy of their government-issued ID to firstname.lastname@example.org, and our staff will add their information to your member profile.
How can I Cancel my order
We prefer that this does not happen, but if in the case you do need to cancel your order. You will need to send an email, which will have a valid timestamp, to email@example.com WITHIN 5 MINUTES of making the purchase in order to avoid incurring any reprocessing or missed delivery fees. In the email, include your Order Number and your intention to cancel the order. You should expect a canceled-order confirmation email right away (please check your spam folder). Additionally, We highly recommend calling our staff at 510-766-6256 if you are unsure about the status of your cancelation.
If you do happen to miss the 5-minute window there will be a reprocessing fee of 5% of the Total Order amount deducted from the online credit that is attached to your member profile. This is to cover the cost of damaged packaging from attaching your Patient label to the ordered product. If you still haven’t successfully cancelled the order by the time the product(s) are loaded and out on delivery, then a missed delivery fee will be charged as well.
How do i return or exchanging faulty goods?
All sales are final. Tree of Health is not responsible for exchanges due to user error, personal taste or preferences. Defective merchandise or products may be returned for an online credit or exact product exchange if we are notified within 24 hours (1 days) of the original delivery date.
All faulty items must have the original packaging to receive exchange. Damaged vape cartridges must meet all the above requirements and have a minimum of 80% of the oil remaining in the tank to receive a refund/ exchange. We reserve the right to refuse refunds and return-service requests to anyone.
